How many galaxies can we see in a Romanesco broccoli?
This is the initial question that inspired the development of this project, which compares a simple vegetable to a complex system composed of various cosmic elements interconnected by gravity.
The observation of the Romanesco goes far beyond its initial aesthetic appeal. If we look closer, it becomes apparent that the pattern seen at first glance repeats infinitely as we zoom in. Each spiral repeats itself, creating new galaxies within.
My goal is to bring this fractal form to life and create, in each photograph, a small galaxy that, despite their differences, convey a sense of unity within this created universe.
"The Galaxy Issue" is an autobiographical work that aims to demonstrate my attempt to find my place in the world around me and to adapt to the different changes that naturally come with the passage of time. Nothing remains stagnant. Nothing stays still. Everything changes. Everything adapts. Sometimes faster than I can keep up with.
